The invention relates to a device and a method for automatically processing functional tests of applications built into a point of sale (POS), enabling the sales transactions carried out in the POS' to be of high operating quality. A primary aim of this invention is thus to provide a device for automatically processing functional tests of applications built into a POS, which comprises an automation and processing appliance that connects to a POS by means of a plurality of linkages, replacing all of the means that were originally connected to the POS in the normal arrangement thereof, the POS maintaining a connection to a Local Area Network (LAN) and to a shop controller. In the automation and processing appliance, the POS connects directly, by means of the linkages, to a processing unit contained by the automation and processing appliance, where one of the linkages, in turn, optionally connects to at least one fiscal card that, in turn, connects to a processing unit. The processing unit also connects to an automation unit, also contained by the automation and processing appliance, and to the personal computer (PC). Furthermore, the automation unit contains a PinPad interface and a PinPad. The automation unit is used to emulate the action of the user, swipe a magnetic card, and press the keyboard for a transaction, and in addition, the processing unit is connected to fiscal cards, which are optional in some cases, but cannot be acted upon or modified, as is also the case with the PinPad. In this way, the processing unit can emulate the operation of all of the peripheries connected to the POS, except the fiscal control cards and the PinPad. The PinPad interface emulates the action of a user by means of a magnetic head interface that supplies a signal to the magnetic head of the PinPad, which is the equivalent to swiping a magnetic card, and an activator of the PinPad keyboard acts on the keyboard, marking the keys of the keyboard of the PinPad, simulating a user transaction.

The invention relates to a system and a method for connection between beams (3) and columns (2), that allows the transmission of forces therebetween, where the beam (3) and the column (2) have a steel frame and a concrete body. The connection system includes a permanent console (1) formed by at least one metal plate, partially inserted into the column (2), anchored thereto and extending outside same in order to act as a support for the beam (3). Various alternatives are provided for fixing the beam (3), including welding, pins and journals. In this way, a beam (3) and a column (2) are able to be joined in such a way that the connection allows the loads of the beam to be effectively transferred to the column (forces and moments). The invention also enables rapid and simple assembly, in addition to the creation of the connection between the elements.
