The subject of the invention is a method for the treatment of biomedical implants for the improvement of antithrombogenic properties thereof. The mentioned biomedical implants are cardiovascular implants, especially artificial blood vessels and stents made from a polyethyleneterephtalate (PET) polymer. The method is based on the treatment of a surface of cardiovascular implants by an adequate combination of a dose of neutral oxygen atom and positively charged molecular and atomic oxygen ions. After having been treated by a dose of said atoms and ions, the surface of cardiovascular implants becomes less prone to binding of thrombocytes. The method is characterised in that the exposure to a mixture of neutral oxygen atoms and positively charged molecular and atomic oxygen ions in pulses is such that in an individual pulse a dose of neutral oxygen atoms is reached between 1020 m-2 and 1026 m-2, and the dose of charged molecular and atomic oxygen ions between 1016 m-2 and 1023 m-2, the interval between individual pulses is between 10 s and 300 s, and that the flow of neutral oxygen atoms and positively charged molecular and atomic oxygen ions onto the surface of an implant is approximately even.

The topic of the invention is an adhesive with the addition of liquid wood - that is liquefied lignocellulosic materials and/or wood, as a component of adhesives for the mass production of products made of bonded wood with a lower content of formaldehyde and the process of its preparation. The invention also allows the curing of the adhesive at lower temperatures thus resulting in energy savings. The adhesive is characterized by containing a melamine, melamine-formaldehyde, melamine-urea-formaldehyde or urea-formaldehyde adhesive or a combination of these adhesives and liquefied wood, that is added up to 50 % (w/w), where the liquefied wood is prepared from materials containing cellulose.

Invention represents fusion protein containing a chimeric flagellin composed of two different types of flagellin, which differ in the strength of activation of TLR5 receptor; vaccine, which contains the fusion protein or DNA coding for the fusion protein and the vaccine is used for treatment and prevention of infections with pathogenic bacteria, which contain flagellin that does not activate the TLR5. The new vaccine includes the fusion protein, which includes flagellin of bacteria that stimulate activation of TLR5. The amino- and carboxy- terminal segments of the Helicobacter pylori flagellin are replaced with the flagellin segments of bacteria, which triggers stimulation of TLR5, and the protein segments against which the immune response will be triggered are added; and optionally a signaling sequence that enables an appropriate localization of the protein is added. The invention also referrers to vaccines used for consecutive immunization, and a vaccine for a single consecutive immunization includes different fusion protein, which differs in part of flagellin that stimulates the TLR5 receptor, which is the way for prevention of neutralization of the fusion protein activity.

Presented is an improved design or redesign concept for synchronous sequential logic devices using an alternative type of registers. Further a suitable clock-tree concept for such registers is proposed. 2.2. The special registers typically use a third additional latch to the traditional two master- and slave latches. This introduces latency between the overtaking and forwarding of information bits, between two edges of one or two clocks. These registers can be clocked with extreme clock skewing. 2.3. This new approach changes advantageously the time margins for setup and hold time between combinational connected registers. The extreme skewing reduces the peak currents. The concept allows also reducing the power dissipation. Existing netlist based designs may be quickly adapted to the new technology just by changing the involved register types and optimizing the clock tree.

The invention concerns a method for the production of nitrate containing products (fertilizers, technical products) from undercooling melts, wherein a XN - water solution is evaporated up to a content of 50-99.8 weight % XN, where X is one or more selected from Ca, Mg, NH4, Na and K, and N means nitrate. The preferred range of XN is 70-99.5 weight %. The melt is cooled down to and kept at a temperature at or below the crystallisation point and finely divided solid XN powder consisting of the equilibrium phases is added to the melt. Melt drops are then formed and allowed to cool and solidify during up to 70 seconds. It is preferred to use a cooling belt for solidification of the particles. The belt is cooled by air, water, oil or another medium.

The doubly prestressed roof-ceiling construction with grid flat soffit for extremely large-span is prefabricated element intended for assembling roofs of extremely large-span buildings with flat soffit. The construction comprises the grid soffit construction (1) and the upper concrete girder (2) of a modified 'T' shaped or of an inverse 'V' shaped cross section, interconnected by slender steel pipe-rods (3) that stabilize the upper girder (2) against lateral buckling. The empty openings within elements of the horizontal grid (1) are fulfilled with plates (6) wherewith a flat soffit is achieved. The construction is prestressed by the double prestressing. The grid-soffit (1) is prestressed centrically and the upper girder (2) is prestressed by the wedge (5) at the midspan.

The indirectly prestressed concrete roof-ceiling construction is prefabricated element for constructing industrial large-span buildings. The construction comprises distinctly wide and thin concrete soffit plate (1) and upper concrete girder (2), of the inverse 'V'-shaped cross section, interconnected by slender steel pipe-rods (3) that are used to stabilize the upper girder (2) against lateral buckling and to prevent parts (1) and (2) to get closer or apart each to another. Prestressing of the soffit plate (1) causes compression in the upper girder (2) which passively (indirectly) pushes the ends of the construction, acting on some eccentricity over the center of gravity of the cross section, causing rotation of its ends bending in that way the soffit plate upwards. There are two efficient methods of prestressing these constructions.

The method and process for producing youthful appearing, small-pored, and smooth skin comprises pretreating the skin topically with retinoic acid, applying a contaminate in oil to the skin, and removing the contaminate by exploding or rupturing it with laser light. When treating the face, removing the contaminate requires only about 4 minutes. The laser light itself does not injure the skin but the rupture of the contaminant produces thermal injury in the high dermis leaving the epidermis intact. Repeated intermittent laser treatments and applications of topical retinoic acid produces the desired results in the skin indefinitely as long as the treatments and applications are continued.
