3. WOWO/2013/041890 - LIGHT-CONDUCTING EARMOLD PROVIDED WITH OPTICAL FIBER28.03.2013
A61F 11/08
PCT/HR2011/000037KOSOR, TonciKOSOR, Tonci
Problems of defect hearing or diseases of particular parts of the ears appear from various causes. The most severe cases relate to middle and inner parts of the ear. Besides other treatments, this is also treated by laser beams. This invention relates to conducting a laser light beam from a source outside the ear directly to the middle and the inner ears, aimed to as efficient and quick as possible healing such disturbances as ringing in the ears, loss of hearing, Ménière's disease, vertigo, inflammations, etc. Presently, illuminating of the middle and the inner ears is performed from outside, by directing a laser light beam of large power through the bone. This results in large losses in light power reaching the intended spot. The invention essence is the light-conducting earmold provided with an optical fiber. The light-conducting earmolds is custom made according to a patient's ear canal model, or in series as a generic earmold. Through the light-conducting earmold passes an optical fiber conducting the laser light beam. To the optical fiber in the light-conducting earmold is connected a laser light source. During the treatment session the patient does not have to lie down and still. The light beam passes through the optical fiber and the light-conducting earmold, passing directly through the eardrum into the middle and the inner ears. Direct acting of the laser beams on parts of the middle and the inner ears decreases losses and requires lesser laser light of lesser power.

4. WOWO/2010/125412 - CIGARETTE FILTER04.11.2010
A24D 3/14
PCT/HU2009/000041SZÖLLÕSI, PéterSZARVAS, Tibor
The invention relates to a special, highly efficient cigarette filter. In particular, the invention relates to a new cigarette filter, in which materials of natural origin not used before in this special field are applied. More particularly, the present invention relates to a special, highly efficient cigarette filter, which can be used favorably for adsorbing the toxic components of the cigarette smoke, and neutralizing the free radicals produced during burning of the cigarette.

5. WOWO/2010/111803 - METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SAFELY DEACTIVATING LANDMINES07.10.2010
F41H 11/16
PCT/CL2010/000012LAGOS MENDEZ, Carlos Humberto SebastianLAGOS MENDEZ, Carlos Humberto Sebastian
Method and system for safely deactivating landmines of any type, buried in a minefield, that can be used, without distinction, for locating, removing and detonating landmines, comprising the provision of a source of water or other fluid that is pressurized and directed towards the minefield, where said water or other fluid is discharged in the form of one or more jets with a force such that the mines buried in the minefield are revealed, removed or detonated; then any elements used for transferring and discharging the flow of water or other pressurized fluid and that have been damaged by the explosions are replaced and sweeping of the minefield continues. An acoustic sensor is used to detect changes in sound transmitted by the one or more jets of water or other fluid when striking undetonated objects in the minefield, making it possible to draw up a map thereof for subsequent neutralization of said objects.

6. WOWO/2010/068968 - METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR USE OF A COCCIDIOSIS VACCINE24.06.2010
C12N 15/861
PCT/AU2009/001615VECTOGEN PTY LTDSHEPPARD, Michael G.
The present invention relates to a coccidiosis vaccine to protect poultry against Eimeria infection, comprising a recombinant avian adenovirus vector comprising in frame a (heterologous) promoter linked to a hydrophobic signal sequence for membrane anchoring, or linked to an hydrophobic secretion signal and a cleavage site to allow secretion; a multiple cloning site for in frame insertion of an Eimeria antigen ORF such as derived from the r56, 82 kDa, and/or TFP250 antigens; a polyadenylation signal; and an avian adenovirus genome.

7. WOWO/2010/064121 - PROCESS FOR GAS SEPARATION10.06.2010
B01D 53/02
PCT/IB2009/007618ENI S.p.ACARATI, Angela
The present invention relates to a process for the separation of gases which comprises putting a mixture of gases in contact with a porous material, containing a silica matrix in which one or more metal oxides are possibly uniformly dispersed, which are selected from transition metals or from metals of groups IIIA, IVA and VA, having a surface area larger than 500 m2/g, a pore volume between 0.3 and 1.3 ml/g, a pore diameter smaller than 40 Angstrom and a XRD powder spectrum which does not have a crystalline structure, does not show any peak, and has a single broad diffraction line, or, in any case, a wide¬ spread scattering at angular values not higher than 2θ = 5° with CuKa radiation, without any other scattering phenomena coherent for higher angular values. By means of the process of the present invention, the selective adsorption is obtained of at least one of the gases forming the gaseous mixture. These adsorbing materials are regenerable and are particularly suitable for bulk removal operations of acid gases from natural gas.

8. WOWO/2010/040544 - WELLHEAD VALVE SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING THE FLOW WITH INTEGRATED MULTIPHASE FLOW RATE MEASURING ABILITY15.04.2010
E21B 33/03
PCT/EP2009/007275ENI S.P.A.ROTA, Vittorio
The present invention refers to a wellhead valve system for adjusting the flow, for example, of hydrocarbon, comprising a hydraulic control valve (10) for opening the wellhead made up of a valve body (11) provided with a pipe (14,15) for the passage of a flow (F) of fluids, having an inlet opening (12) and an outlet opening (13), interposed between the inlet opening (12) and the outlet opening (13) being an adjustable orifice (16); an actuator (24) adapted to command the valve (10) to close and open, in which the actuator (24) operates on opening and closing means (20) of the adjustable orifice (16); and a position gauge (17) adapted to determine the degree of opening of the adjustable orifice (16), and is characterized in that the position gauge (17) is integral with the opening and closing means (20) of the adjustable orifice (16). Thanks to the accurate measurements carried out by the position gauge (17), it is possible to determine the gas/liquid monophase and/or biphase flow rate value accurately and instantly, based upon data measured by a plurality of fluid and/or flow parameters sensors (22, 23), comprising pressure sensors (22) and temperature sensors (23), preferably positioned integral with the valve body (11).
