A method of preparation of a ceramic facing mixture including exposing the mixture to a weak pulsed magnetic field. The technical result is increasing the efficiency of the method of ceramic facing, by lowering the mixture's viscosity and by increasing its fluidity.

The invention relates to the pneumatic circuit of a device for ceramic surfacing a damaged refractory masonry (lining) of furnaces without cooling said furnaces. A chamber pump (1) is connected by means of a switch (20) to a compressed air source and uniformly and controllably supplies a powdery castable refractory mixture contained therein to a refractory tuyere (2) input in order to mix said mixture with oxygen at a specified ration and to supply it to a local repairable area. Said invention makes it possible to ensure the reliable and stable long-term operation of the device under conditions of repetitive on/off switchings of the compressed air supply for transporting the powdery castable refractory mixture. For this purpose, the switch (20) is associated with a pressure relieve filter (18) from the chamber pump cavity and is embodied in the form of a four-port on/off pneumatic distribution valve. The selected number of inputs and outputs of the pneumatic distribution valve automatically ensures a pressure pre-relief from the chamber pump into atmosphere during the switchings, thereby preventing the clogging of the holes by the refractory mixture transported from the chamber pump (1) through an aerator (5) and an aerating air pressure stabiliser (6).

The efficiency of an exothermic autoclave leach process is increased by increasing the retention time of the solids fraction in the feed slurry over that of the liquid fraction. This is achieved by flashing the contents of the first oxidative autoclave compartment to a flash vessel, with the underflow therefrom passing to a thickener and the underflow from the thickener being fed to the autoclave feed tank or any tank upstream of the feed tank. Exothermic heat generated in the first compartment of the autoclave is abstracted in the flashing process. Additionally portions of the overflow from the thickener are returned to the feed tank and fed to the autoclave discharge tank.

The invention can be used for fuel assembles in nuclear engineering, in particular for the structure of a rigid framework. The inventive fuel assembly consists of head and rear parts which are connected to each other by guiding channels arranged in cells of spacer grids. Said guiding channels are rigidly connected at least to end spacer grids. The height (h) of the spacer grids and the wall thickness (δ) of the cells thereof are selected in such a way that the quantitative characteristics thereof correspond to a calculatedly-and-experimentally determined condition. Said invention makes it possible to improve assembling rigidity at transversal and longitudinal bending, to increase an angular rigidity of the «a guiding channel-a cell of spacer grid» pairs, to reduce the fuel assembly bending in its own plane between the spacer grids and the free bending of the fuel assembly in non-homogenous neutron and temperature fields by the decreased tendency of a E635 alloy to radiation growth.
