The invention establishes a novel technological paradigm and relates to a light source that does not require electricity in order to operate, consisting of a vacuum-sealed, spherical glass bulb. The invention contains numerous small, thin gold pieces having basic geometrical shapes: circles, squares and triangles, each provided in equal amounts. The invention is portable, does not generate heat and has multiple uses and an unlimited useful life. A light source that does not require electricity can also be created in a glass bulb which can be cylindrical, spiral, ovoid, toroidal, with variable section, such as a luminaire, forming letters, symbols, decorative figures and any three-dimensional figure that is as small or large as required such as to safely withstand the high vacuum required and the operation thereof. A method for manufacturing a light source that does not require electricity, using a spherical glass bulb which has an opening that allows the insertion of small pieces of gold leaf, which are very thin and have basic geometrical shapes: circles, squares and triangles, each provided in equal amounts and in a number that is proportional to the required luminosity. The vacuum is created in the bulb and the bulb is hermetically and permanently sealed using any method. The method for manufacturing a light source that does not require electricity also includes the cases of: a glass bulb which can be cylindrical, spiral, ovoid, toroidal, with variable section, such as a luminaire, forming letters, symbols, decorative figures and any three-dimensional figure that is as small or large as required such as to safely withstand the high vacuum required and the operation thereof.

The system is characterised in that it is very versatile owing to its intercommunication flexibility and modularity, achieved using communication interfaces designed for this purpose, thereby making the system very suitable for use in countries and regions which do not always have a good communication infrastructure or which, owing to the particular nature of the region, could pose problems for the installation and use of other devices. The invention relates to a manually operated general system and examples of pipettes (in axial and non-axial configurations) having ergonomic properties. The invention relates to a type of manual pipette system comprising a mobile nozzle and a container housing disposable tips, which can be coupled to the casing of the pipette. The system can be configured in two directions, namely: one direction for establishing and altering the configuration between either an axial or non-axial configuration; and another direction for allowing the insertion/ejection of the disposable tips located at the end of the nozzle. The first is achieved using a nozzle having different positions at pre-defined fixed angles (β), whereby for β=0 the system is in an axial configuration and for other values of β it is in a non-axial configuration. For the second, the nozzle can move in rotation and/or translation, so that it is aligned with the disposable tip inside a container, which is subsequently inserted into the end of the nozzle.

The invention relates to a complete method for handling and using a container for disposable tips, which can be coupled to a pipette device. The method is divided into two parts, namely: one part in which disposable tips are inserted into the container, and another part in which disposable tips in the pipette device are replaced between each liquid-suctioning/dispensing operation. In the first part, an apparatus is used to insert and position each disposable tip inside the container. In the second part, a system is used to replace disposable tips, which system reduces the number of movements to be performed by such a device in each pipette operation.
