1. WOWO/2014/054931 - UNSTABLE ROWING SIMULATOR10.04.2014
A63B 69/06
PCT/LT2012/000010UAB "ABILI"DOMEIKA, Aurelijus
Lever-type rowing machine, whose main rigging dimensions meet the corresponding parameters of sweep rowing or sculling boat is mounted to the base frame by using front and rear elastic suspension so that the simulator makes it possible to rotate (tilt) about its transverse and longitudinal axes and move vertically, thus making it possible to simulate the boat swings on the transverse and longitudinal axes and movement in the vertical direction. In addition, the simulator has passive and active stabilization systems, enabling the athlete to maintain a balance, and stiffness of its front and rear suspension and stabilizer system can be adjusted depending on the weight and balancing ability of user. There is also a possibility to constraint the suspension thus ensuring full stability of the simulator and exercise regime, corresponding to the exercising on common rowing machines.

2. WOWO/2014/054932 - METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HONEYCOMB CATALYST ELEMENT WITH A PLASMA DISCHARGE UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED THERETHROUGHOUT10.04.2014
PCT/LT2013/000016UAB "EKOLOGIJOS TECHNOLOGIJU TYRIMO IR DIEGIMO INSTITUTAS"PAKAMANIS, Rimantas
Honeycomb catalyst elements (catalyst units) on a metallic substrate are well-known and widely used in various branches of the chemical industry as well as in related fields dedicated to the detoxification of industrial and automotive exhaust gases. In the method for manufacturing a honeycomb catalyst element, which involves rolling up two metal strips, one corrugated and the other flat, with a sprayed-on catalytic coating, about a transverse axis to form a honeycomb catalyst element, what is novel is that in order to reliably initiate and maintain an ionizing plasma discharge inside the unit, the spray-coated strips are rolled up with a force (σ) of from 2.5 to 7.5 n/mm2. Furthermore, the thickness of the sprayed-on catalyst layer (d) and the force (σ) applied as the strips are rolled up to form a unit are related by the empirical formula σ/d = 0.25, where σ is the specific force (n/mm2), and d is the thickness of the sprayed-on layer (mm).

The present invention is related to the systems and methods of disruption of biomass of renewable resources - algal cells - by applying the rotating induced magnetic field, and isolation of bioproducts accumulated in the algal cells, such as lipids, proteins, pigments, vitamins, from the disrupted biomass. The bioproducts isolated may be used in different fields of modern biotechnology industry, in particular in the production of biofuel (bioethanol, biogas, biodiesel), biodegradable plastics, detergents, biofeed and/or supplements, and food supplements, medicine and pharmaceutical industry.

6. WOWO/2013/187745 - ANALYSIS OF SMALL RNA19.12.2013
C12N 15/11
PCT/LT2013/000009VILNIUS UNIVERSITYKLIMAŠAUSKAS, Saulius
Provided is a method for modifying a strand of RNA at the 3' end, said method comprising contacting the strand with a RNA 2'-0-methyltransferase in the presence of a co-factor, under conditions which allow for the transfer by the RNA 2'-0-methyltransferase of a part of the co-factor onto the 3' end of the RNA strand to form a modified RNA strand, wherein the strand of RNA is comprised in a duplex, and wherein the part of the co-factor transferred comprises a reporter group or a functional group.

7. WOWO/2013/187747 - A PROTECTION MODULE FOR PREVENTING UNAUTHORIZED USE OF ELECTRIC ENERGY19.12.2013
G01R 11/24
PCT/LT2013/000011ŽVIRBLIS, SigitasŽVIRBLIS, Sigitas
The invention belongs to the field of electrotechnics and can be used in electric energy consumption metering systems. Particularly it is used for preventing unauthorized use of electric power. The module (1) for preventing unauthorized use of electric power consists of an automatic circuit breaker (2), a current sensor (3), a control block (4), an actuation mechanism (5), two control circuit connectors (6, 7), whereas one of said two connectors links the current sensor with the control block, and the other one of said two connectors links the control block with the actuation mechanism, and a mechanical connector (8), linking the actuation mechanism and the automatic circuit breaker. First ends of the primary windings in the supply power grid are connected to output terminals of the automatic circuit breaker, and the second terminals are connected to the electricity metering device. The module is arranged to be integrated into an electricity meter or can be used as a self-contained device in electric power supply system.

PCT/LT2012/000008UAB "ROKIŠKIO PRAGIEDRULIAI"KISELEVA, Natalia
The invention relates to chromatographic extraction of (2R,3R)-dihydroquercetin for production of biologically active additives for medical and pharmaceutical purposes as well as for cosmetics and food industry. A highly productive method of extraction of (2R,3R)-dihydroquercetin is proposed. Hard material, containing dihydroquercetin is dissolved in water solution of ethanol at 20-29 °C until the content of dihydroquercetin in water solution of ethanol is 50-250 g/l. Subsequently chromatographic separation under pressure of 100-500 kg/cm2 in a column with dynamic axial compression is carried out, where said column is filled with reversed-phase sorbent. The sorbent is eluted with previously degassed and modified water solution of ethanol. The fractions of eluate are gathered by means of refractometric and mass spectrometric analysis with subsequent crystallization by freezing, filtering and lyophilization of the target product. The product acquired by the use of such method contains no less than 99,9 % of (2R,3R)- dihydroquercetin.˙
