PCT/EG2013/000024MOHAMED, Osama Aziz El-Masry AliMOHAMED, Osama Aziz El-Masry Ali
The invention is mainly about introducing an Integral Baggage Boarding Verification System operated by the Airlines that can be combined with the different Baggage Handling Systems operated by the Airports to address the high mishandled baggage rate occurring every year which causes bad reputation and high compensation expenses to the airlines. This can be achieved through equipping each Aircraft (Cargo Area) with a Fixed RFID Reader (including GSM/GPRS Module) along with assigning RFID Tags for each Checked In Baggage. Accordingly each baggage will be verified that it has boarded the aircraft via reading its RFID Tag as it gets loaded to the aircraft. After finalizing the baggage loading process to the aircraft and before taking off, a consolidated report of the boarded baggage will be wirelessly transmitted to the Airline On-Site Office where it can be cross-matched with the boarded baggage/passengers report provided by the Airport and hence spotting any missing/unknown baggage on the aircraft before taking off and taking the corrective action accordingly. This ensures a more proactive way of detecting any mishandled baggage in a timely manner and in regardless of the efficiency of the airport baggage handling system being advanced or normal, hence reducing the mishandled baggage rates for the Airlines to save their reputation and avoid compensation expenses which will definitely lead to adding a competitive edge to some airlines over the others.

PCT/EG2013/000027NANOTECH FOR PHOTOELECTRONICS RESEARCHMAHMOUD, Mona Bakr Mohamed
New formulas of Iron oxides nanoparticles capped with a mixture of multivitamins such as folic acid, Nicotinic acid (vitamin B9) and Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) has been developed for the rapid and efficient treatment of life threatening iron-deficiency anemia. Small single dose of iron oxides-multivitamin nano-composite as low as 25 mg elemental iron per does is sufficient to increase the hemoglobin level from 4.4 g/dl up to 14.6 g/dl within only four days after administration. The multivitamin which used in this nano-composite enhances iron absorption significantly and elevated the concentration of hemoglobin. Two dosage forms of Iron nano-composites have been developed, gel capsules and aqueous solution for oral administration. Animal trials studies reveal that introducing single dose of Iron Oxide- vitamin nano-composites containing 2.57 mg elemental iron per kg rat body weight (equal to 25 mg in human) is sufficient to correct the hemoglobin level and cure Anemia via oral administration. The toxicity study reveals that the LD50 of our new iron nano-composite is 1425.3 mg/kg rat body weight, means that the LD50 of nano-sized iron nano-composites in standard human (60 kg weight) is 13,854 mg. Thus, the single dose required for rapid treatment of iron deficiency anemia is 554 times less than the LD50 in human. No apparent of any sight of toxicity on hematological, biochemistry or histopathology studies. Moreover, the histopathology study of the bone-marrow suggests that the used iron oxides -vitamin nano-composites increase the number of the RBCs precursors which stimulate the bone- marrow to produce more RBCS.

9. WOWO/2014/127784 - ASYMMETRIC ROTATORY STIRLING ENGINE28.08.2014
F02G 1/043
PCT/EG2013/000012EL-TOOKHY, Osama Mohamed Salah El Din AhmedEL-TOOKHY, Osama Mohamed Salah El Din Ahmed
This invention is a new design for a self-starting Stirling engine which consists of three units installed on a drive shaft. A large diameter Generator unite transfers the working fluid from heat exchanger to coolant or to any other application needed after, and the other two smaller units one of them is called the "Pump" 2 and the other is the "Feeder" 3, in which the Pump compresses and transfers the working fluid from the Feeder to the heat exchanger while the Feeder is transferring the working fluid from coolant or the fresh air to the Pump. The Pump and Feeder have the same shape and diameter which is smaller than the Generator but the Feeder height is larger than the Pump. Each unit consists of fixed and rotatory part. The cylindrical fixed part consists of 3 walls in a C-shape surrounding the rotor body which is settled inside, forming together a closed hollow tube area, in which the working fluid is transferred from unit to another. When the heat exchanger is exposed to the heat source the working fluid expands and presses on the Generator Grooves as well as the adjacent active blades in the Pump rotor. Due to the difference in rotor radius which is higher in the Generator than the Pump rotor that in turn rotates in the Generator direction leads to exit of the working fluid from the heat exchanger to the coolant. In the same time forcing the Feeder and Pump to run in the same direction resulting in feeding a new volume of the working fluid from coolant, getting compressed by the Pump, heated in the heat exchanger and getting out to coolant again via the Generator and so on.
