The present utility model relates to individual laminar devices that have a circular shape, are thin and have diameters that vary according to the drug dosage used. Said devices comprise the dimensions of the skin affected by the drug overlying the injected muscle. A central hole in the device allows the ideal spot for the injection to be marked and identified. When placed over the skin, said device mimics the area that will be affected by the muscular paralysis. Consequently, differently to when pre-established laminar moulds are used for regional applications, more practical guidance will be given to the applicator when outlining the necessary injections for achieving the result of using attenuated botulinum toxin, especially concerning the frontal region of the face, which is one of the regions where said attenuated botulinum toxin is used the most for aesthetic treatment.

The present invention relates to the technical field of wind turbines, and more specifically to a vertical-axis wind turbine comprising a fairing (1), which is shaped like a double-headed axe partially surrounding the rotor (2) and moved by the action of the wind, coupled via the shaft thereof by means of a rudder-type device (4) attached to the fairing (1). The pointed shape of the fairing (1) splits the airflow, protects the blades rotating against the direction of the wind and causes the wind to impact directly on the blades which experience a pressure increase caused by a vertical aerofoil (3) positioned a specific distance from the blades of the rotor (2). This causes the wind to push frontally against the flat blades, which experience no counter pressure from the wind, the wind flowing with no drag even at high speeds and the blades experiencing the maximum possible pressure differential, which is the primary factor in efficiency.

The present patent of invention refers to a coaxial-cable stripper, comprising two mutually pivoting parts (1a, 1b), in which the cable (9) is fitted between a recess (3) and a recess (4). Said recess (4) contains two blades (6, 7) to cut the different layers that make up the coaxial cable. The stripper (1) cuts the layers of the cable (9) as same is rotated, and thus the stripper (1) closes as it cuts the cable (9), and when said stripper (1) is completely closed, the cable is ready to be connected to a connector for telecommunications devices.

The system includes means for capturing images and sending them to the public network for monitoring purposes in situations where there are pedestrians on the crossing and vehicles approaching.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AND ELIMINATING PESTS comprising a plurality of traps fitted with data processing means, arranged in a given coverage area, said traps comprising specific traps for rodents, specific traps for flying insects and specific traps for crawling insects. The data processing means include animal presence sensors, means for processing the information provided by said sensors and means for communicating the information, as well as power supply means. According to another feature of the invention, the traps in a given area are controlled by a master station that oversees operation of said "slave" traps, via said information communication means. The aforementioned coverage area of a master station may include different types of slaves, i.e. a single area may simultaneously include specific traps for rodents, specific traps for flying insects and specific traps for crawling insects, since the identifying code of the slaves indicates the type of pest the trap is used for.
