The invention, preparation method and composition of a pharmaceutical drug from quenodeoxicholate linked to a natural, d-fructose-analogue, sulfamate-derived monosaccharide (topiramate) and to a phenyl ketone (bupropion) for the treatment of obesity and plurimetabolic syndromes, essentially consists of a new chemical entity having a specific receptor in the biological membrane that improves absorption due to the active transport thereof, which molecule releases, after being hydrolysed, bupropion and topiramate, which have already been shown to be effective for the treatment of obesity and plurimetabolic syndromes. Bupropion is an aminoketone which has, as mechanism of action, a slight norepinephrine, serotonin and dopamine reuptake inhibition effect and which has been shown to promote weight loss in various studies, with low incidence of adverse events. Topiramate is a sulfamate-substituted, 1,6-diphosphate fructose analogue that induces weight loss, human studies suggesting that it plays a role in the decrease of calorie ingestion, and in hormone involvement in obesity and glucose and lipid metabolism. A new chemical entity associating the molecules of these two pharmaceutical drugs achieves a synergistic effect, since each part acts on a particular physiological system to reduce body weight in overweight or obese patients.

A tool (100) is described for removing unwanted gas hydrates from the surface of equipment used in subsea exploration and production, with the said tool being comprised of a main vessel (1) and a power cable (2) linked together by a connector (3); and, inside the said vessel (1) a laser device (15) is connected to an adjustable focus collimator (4) by a cable (12), with the wavelength emitted by the said laser (15) being between 200 nm and 930 nm, whereby when the radiation reaches the subsea exploration equipment it causes the heating thereof, which in turn heats the hydrate through conduction, breaking down the hydrate formation from the inside out; and with the front lid (14) having a window (5) forming an interface between the said vessel (1) and the aqueous medium, with the said window (5) being fitted with anti-reflection film (6) and anti-reflection film (7). The method for removing gas hydrates from the surfaces of equipment used in subsea exploration and production with the assistance of the said tool (100) is also described.
