The subject of the invention relates to a transformer station with improved cooling, which has a basic body (10) containing in it an internal space (15) bordered by a foundation (11) made from a post-hardening material at least a part of which is under ground level, side walls (12) and a roof (14), the internal space (15) of the basic body (10) contains a transformer chamber (17), a switching area (16) separated from it with a dividing wall (13), and a ventilation passage linking the internal space (15) with the external environment, and located on the roof (14) of the basic body (10) there is an access opening (14a) with a cover (14b), and a grid at least partially covering the ventilation passage. A motorized lift for an electronic display includes a reversible electric motor operably coupled to a first shiftable column and a second shiftable column, the coupling to the first column being direct and the coupling to the second column being indirect whereby operation of the electric motor in a first rotational direction acts to simultaneously extend the first and second columns and operation of the electric motor in a second and opposite rotational direction acts to simultaneously retract the first and second columns. A method of operating a motorized lift for an electronic display is further included.

The whole plant Fagonia bruguieri DC., family Zygophyllaceae was extracted with boiling water and freeze-dried. The LD50 values of the dried extract were 11.5 and 10.75 g/kg i.p. in mice and rats, respectively. Treatment of albino guinea-pigs with the extract in doses of 200 mg/kg (i.v.) or orally antagonized histamine (20 µg/kg i.v.) - and capsaicin (100 µg/kg i.v.) - induced bronchoconstriction without affecting that induced with ACh and 5-HT. The percentage antagonisms were 72 ± 0.9 and 65 ± 4% against histamine and capsaicin, respectively (P < 0.01, N = 10). Exposure of conscious guinea-pigs to histamine aqueous aerosols (10 mg/ml) induced initial graspings and reversible loss of consciousness within 5 minutes. Treatment of the guinea-pigs with the extract in doses of 1.25 g/kg (i.p.) for 20 minutes or orally for 2 hours protected significantly the animals against histamine-induced grasps and loss of consciousness (P < 0.01, N = 11). Fagonia bruguieri freeze-dried aqueous extract and its constituents are claimed to be potential new treatment for allergy.

A cutting tool for chip removing including a cutting insert provided with a through hole, a J shaped locking pin actuated by a locking screw, and a tool holder having means to receive the cutting insert, the locking screw and the locking pin. The cutting insert is positioned in place by passing its hole over the clamping head of the locking pin and is securely locked into the tool holder's receiving pocket in both horizontal and vertical directions. For some embodiments the insert is clamped due to a simultaneous tilting and downward sliding movement of the locking pin while for other embodiments the insert is clamped due to both a horizontal and a vertical force which are components of a pulling force applied by the locking pin.
