Combustion chamber of cooker is well ventilated and needs no fan or blower. Boiler has good heat conducting exhaust pipes that are submerged in water, and heat in the exhaust is extracted by the pipe to heat the surrounding water.

An insulated pressing iron that conserves the heat in the exhaust of burning charcoal and uses said heat to produce pressurized steam which is channelled through a calibrated valve, and steam distribution lines to holes in the hot base pressing plate; thus, an energy-saving charcoal steam pressing iron with 80 % efficiency. Domestic gas (LPG) burner could also be used in this system in place of the charcoal, but safety aspect is still being being researched.
