| 1. | WO | WO/2013/060339 - MARINE GENERATOR | 02.05.2013 |
| PCT/DO2011/000005 | ALCÁNTARA RUÍZ, Joel José | ALCÁNTARA RUÍZ, Joel José | ||||
The invention relates to a marine generator which is a plant for use in the electricity industry for producing energy, operating in the water, with a cylindrical shape, made up of five sections, semi-hermetic at the top and hermetic at the bottom. Floating in water, with a specific height and diameter, weights are attached at a given depth in order to provide stability. The generator has circular openings at the sides, where hydrostatic pressure pushes a volume of water. The generator must be submerged or in the water in order to generate energy. The cylinder contains hydraulic turbines. The water enters by the sides of the cylinder, through openings, to reach the turbines. The ballast tank comprises a sensor which activates the pumps of the cylinder that carries the water upwards to the turbines, which generate energy. The water then spills out of the cylinder, preventing same from filling. The solution for the electrical industry consists of not causing any direct or indirect harm to the environment, since no pollution is generated. Unlike prior technologies, said generator does not require any fossil fuels or biofuels, thus reducing industrial expenditure, for example in the electricity industry.

| 2. | WO | WO/2013/056717 - ANTI-THEFT DEVICE ("VOLTUS") WHICH EMITS AN ALARM AND DELIVERS AN ELECTRIC SHOCK, FOR BAGS, WALLETS, BRIEFCASES AND SIMILAR | 25.04.2013 |
| PCT/DO2012/000002 | ESPAILLAT MOSCOSO, Emilia Anagie | ESPAILLAT MOSCOSO, Emilia Anagie | ||||
The electric device has been created to prevent briefcases and wallets from being stolen both in the case of violent robberies and in the case of non-violent robberies where the owner is distracted by the thief. The device comprises two interconnected parts, namely a receiver and a transmitter. The first part, or the receiver, takes the form of an inner bag for wallets and briefcases, which can have different sizes depending on the briefcase/wallet to be protected, in order to protect the objects normally contained therein. The second part, or the transmitter, is affixed to a device carried by the user, allows the first device to be activated after it has been stolen and can be worn in different ways by the user (e.g. watch, belt buckle, collar, etc.). The device is activated automatically, beginning with the activation of an immediate alarm once a specified distance between one device and the other has been exceeded. Next, while the alarm is still active and after a specified period of time has lapsed, intermittent electric shocks are delivered, said shocks stopping once the two devices are within the specified deactivation range.

| 3. | WO | WO/2013/044929 - DEVICE FOR MAGNETISING AND HARMONISING WATER CONTAINED IN FIVE-GALLON BOTTLES (CARBOYS) | 04.04.2013 |
| PCT/DO2012/000001 | GARCIA POLANCO, Ayban Carlos | GARCIA POLANCO, Ayban Carlos | ||||
The invention relates to a device for magnetising and transmitting harmony to water contained in five-gallon bottles (carboys) when the water bottle (carboy) has been installed, during which time the surface of the bottle (carboy) is in contact with the device, said device comprising magnets, lights, landscape drawings, positive written messages and a mini sound system playing classical music. The water begins to be magnetised and harmonised and, as a result, the water supplied to the user is lighter and tastes better. According to one aspect of the invention, in order to achieve the above-mentioned aims, the invention provides four different devices for treating water contained in bottles (carboys). Each of the water-treatment devices includes six magnets and a mini sound system, as well as lights, landscapes of different colours and a positive message that is incorporated into the invention.

| PCT/DO2011/000003 | WORLD ASSOCIATE INVENTORS, S.A. | GALAN SALAS, Seferino | ||||
The invention relates to a portable wash basin designed to be used without being connected to any plumbing fixtures. The invention is suitable for use by the infirm, can be transported to locations without water services and can be operated electrically or manually as required. The invention is formed by an electric air compressor or manual air pump, a pressure regulator, and a tank for drinking water (having a capacity suited to demand). According to the invention, water arrives at the tap by means of air pressure and, subsequently, the used water flows into a second tank for waste water, said tank containing a draining mechanism. All of the components of the system are interconnected by internal hoses or pipes and housed in a wooden cabinet together with the corresponding tap and wash basin, said cabinet being mounted on circular wheels to facilitate the movement thereof.

| PCT/DO2011/000006 | GUTIERREZ NUÑEZ, Miguel Ramon | GUTIERREZ NUÑEZ, Miguel Ramon | ||||
The invention relates to an advanced hydraulic sweep turbine presenting a substantial advance in the field, said turbine being arranged around a rotating core (5) having sufficient tonnage for moving the turbine with a great amount of power in order to generate the horsepower required by the turbine, the revolution depending on a very high level of fluid pressure of the water interacting with the blades, said core comprising eight bowed blades (7) having a wide span and a rotation of 90 degrees, enabling the core to easily receive all of the pressure required by the turbine. The edges of the blades (7) are provided with a groove (16) having three openings for placing three springs (10.1), (10.2) and (10.3), enabling flexibility from the inside towards the outside, thereby forcing the joint element (8) to make contact with the cylinder (7.2) in order to seal the fluid pressure (9.2), preventing leakage and forming the sweep system for reducing the consumption of water required by the turbine by 90 % compared to other turbines.

| 6. | WO | WO/2012/052034 - SYSTEM FOR ADAPTING AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE SO THAT IT IS OPERATED USING COMPRESSED AIR OR GAS | 26.04.2012 |
| PCT/DO2011/000004 | MATOS CUEVAS, Daniel | MATOS CUEVAS, Daniel | ||||
The invention relates to the adaptation of an internal combustion engine so that it can be operated using compressed air instead of fuel. A system is provided for operating an internal combustion engine that has at least one cylinder and a reciprocating piston. The fuel and the spark plugs are substituted by a system that uses air or a different compressed gas as a driving force means which is supplied into the combustion chamber through the opening of the spark plug. Said system includes a differential compressor (2), a tank for storing compressed air (3), a distributing valve (4) coupled to the camshaft of the engine (1), application valves (5) connected in the openings of the spark plugs, suction (6), output (7) and drying (8 and 9) air filters, non-return valves (10), an automatic closing valve (11), a manual closing valve (12), an acceleration valve (13), a safety valve (14), an exhaust air pressure tube (15), a suction (16) and output (17) tube, suction (18) and exhaust (19) multiples, an emergency compressor (20) and atmospheric air intakes (21 and 22).
