Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents

User equipment (UE) in a 5G new radio (NR) environment may be configured to perform operations. In response to receiving a dynamic uplink grant (DG) that indicates a HARQ process that is associated with a configured uplink grant, the UE may start or restart a configured grant timer that is associated with the HARQ process, wherein the configured grant timer restricts access to the HARQ process when the configured grant timer is running. The UE may transmit a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) message associated with the DG, using the HARQ process. In response to receiving a HARQ acknowledgement of the PUSCH message associated with the DG and in response to the HARQ process being associated with a configured uplink grant (CG), the UE may stop the configured grant timer.

Appl.No PCT/CN2022/129559 Applicant APPLE INC. Inventor YE, Chunxuan
Methods and apparatus are provided for non-terrestrial network (NTN) coverage enhancement. A user equipment (UE) sends, to a network node of the NTN, an indication of a UE capability for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) repetition of a fourth message (Msg4) Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledge (HARQ-ACK) transmission in a random-access channel (RACH) procedure. The UE determines, during the RACH procedure, a trigger for the PUCCH repetition of the Msg4 HARQ-ACK transmission. In response to the trigger, the UE transmits one or more Msg4 HARQ-ACK repetitions from the UE to the network node.

WO 10.05.2024
Int.Class H04W 72/115
Appl.No PCT/US2023/036288 Applicant APPLE INC. Inventor YANG, Weidong
This disclosure relates to techniques for selecting time domain resources in a wireless communication system. A wireless device and a cellular base station may establish a wireless link. The wireless device may receive an uplink grant that provides multiple uplink transmission occasions. The wireless device may select a subset of the multiple uplink transmission occasions and may perform uplink transmissions during the selected subset. The subset selected by the wireless device may be determined based on a resource adjustment rule for the wireless device. Each of the uplink transmissions may include an indication of uplink transmission occasions that are unused by the wireless device.

Appl.No PCT/US2023/076395 Applicant APPLE INC. Inventor CHEN, Yuqin
Methods and apparatuses used in a communication network are disclosed to implement enhanced UAV measurement reports. In one example embodiment, a method for an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) connected to a network through one or more cells while in movement relative to the one or more cells is disclosed that: determines an event for one or more cells; and reports a cell ID of the one or more cells associated with the event without measurement data to the network.

LTRANSMISSION OF DIGITAL INFORMATION, e.g. TELEGRAPHIC COMMUNICATION
27Modulated-carrier systems
Appl.No PCT/CN2022/129324 Applicant APPLE INC. Inventor CHEN, Xiang
Systems and methods for group-based beam reporting are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) may determine first and second characteristics of first and second beams used by the network and that are received at the UE in a simultaneous fashion. The UE is configured to identify the first and second beams as a qualified beam pair upon analyzing a characteristic of first beam and a characteristic of second beam in relation to a threshold, and then send the network a beam reporting message identifying the first beam and the second beam as a qualified beam pair. The network may then use this beam pair to communicate with the UE. Relevant beam characteristics, threshold types, and related analyses are discussed. Uses of beam pair validity timers during which a reported qualified beam pair is valid are discussed. Updates to a qualified beam pair are discussed.

Appl.No PCT/US2023/036646 Applicant APPLE INC. Inventor BHAMRI, Ankit
Techniques herein may enable dynamic configuration of a network-control repeater (NCR) by introducing one or more DCI formats that include side control information (SCI) for configuring a control link, backhaul link, and/or access link of the NCR. One or more DCI formats may be used. An NCR may provide a base station with capability information, in terms of SCI, supported by the NCR. The base station may determine a DCI format based on the capability information and provide the configuration for each aspect of the SCI supported by the NCR in a DCI format. The NCR may receive the configurations, detect the presence/absence of one or more fields, and calculate the size of the new DCI format. Doing so may enable the NCR to detect the new DCI format in a search space and self-configure accordingly. The NCR may be dynamically configured to receive SCI via the new DCI format.
