(EN)An aiming indicia is provided for a bar code (4000) comprising a sequence of parallel code bars (4012) and intervening code spaces (4014) disposed along a longitudinal code axis (4010) in accordance with a predefined standard. The aiming indicia (4050) comprises a non-encoded graphic element (4052) disposed on the longitudinal code axis (4010) adjacent the bar code and spaced apart from the nearest code bars by a distance (4058) of at least 10 times a minimum unit width for the code bars.
(FR)L'invention concerne un indice de pointage destiné à un code barres (4000), comportant une séquence de codes barres parallèles (4012) et d'espaces de code (4014) intercalés disposés le long d'un axe de code longitudinal (4010) selon un standard prédéfini. Ledit indice (4050) de pointage comporte un élément graphique (4052) non codé, disposé sur l'axe de code longitudinal (4010) de manière adjacente au code barres, et séparé de la barre de code la plus proche d'une distance (4058) valant au moins 10 fois une largeur unitaire minimale des barres de code.
