Abstract:

(EN)The process concerns hydrometallurgical processing of manganese sulphate and manganese dithionate containing liquors and recovery of water therefrom. Sodium sulphate and/or sodium dithionate containing liquors are derived from manganese sulphate and manganese dithionate containing liquids, which are then cooled to produce crystals of sodium sulphate decahydrate and sodium dithionate dehydrate. The sodium sulphate decahydrate and sodium dithionate dehydrate crystals are then heated to a temperature sufficient to decompose the sodium sulphate decahydrate crystals to form anhydrous sodium sulphate crystals, sodium dithionate hydrate crystals and water, after which water is removed from the sodium sulphate and sodium dithionate hydrate crystal. The sodium sulphate and sodium dithionate dehydrate crystals are then heated to form anhydrous sodium sulphate, sulfur dioxide and water or steam. The anhydrous sodium sulphate is then separated from the sulfur dioxide and water.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé comprenant un traitement hydrométallurgique de liqueurs contenant du sulfate de manganèse et du dithionate de manganèse et la récupération d'eau à partir de celles-ci. Des liqueurs contenant du sulfate de sodium et/ou du dithionate de sodium sont dérivées des liquides contenant du sulfate de manganèse et du dithionate de manganèse, qui sont ensuite refroidis pour produire des cristaux de sulfate de sodium décahydraté et de dithionate de sodium décahydraté. Les cristaux de sulfate de sodium décahydraté et de dithionate de sodium décahydraté sont ensuite chauffés à une température suffisante pour décomposer les cristaux de sulfate de sodium décahydraté afin de former des cristaux de sulfate de sodium anhydre, des cristaux de dithionate de sodium hydraté et de l'eau, après quoi l'eau a été éliminée des cristaux de sulfate de sodium et de dithionate de sodium hydratés. Les cristaux de sulfate de sodium et de dithionate de sodium déshydratés ont ensuite été chauffés afin de former du sulfate de sodium anhydre, du dioxyde de soufre et de l'eau ou de la vapeur d'eau. Le sulfate de sodium anhydre est ensuite séparé du dioxyde de soufre et de l'eau.
