(EN)There is provided a method for mediating the flow of messages in a computer network having a mediation architecture that includes a plurality of logical nodes arranged in a logical mediation cycle. The method provides algorithms for: handing mediation tasks over between mediator nodes; reconfiguring the logical topology of the mediation architecture in response to a change request while maintaining system invariants; and refining the structure of the mediation architecture by adding whole subnetworks in place of single nodes. The method also addresses failure detection and recovery.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de médiation de flux de messages dans un réseau informatique à architecture de médiation qui comprend une pluralité de noeuds logiques disposés en cycle de médiation logique. Le procédé comporte des algorithmes pour les besoins suivants : transfert de tâches de médiation entre noeuds médiateurs ; reconfiguration de topologie logique de l'architecture de médiation suite à une demande de changement, avec maintien des invariants du système ; et affinage de la structure de l'architecture de médiation par adjonction de sous-réseaux entiers à la place de noeuds uniques. Le procédé considéré assure également la détection et la rectification d'erreur.
