Abstract:

(EN)The invention concerns a method for representing, or publishing, and/or processing a structured data in a markup language such as XML, in any browser or application capable of reading Java. Thus, a Java applet, or programme, (or routine) located in the XML document along with the data takes as parameter said data and publishes it in accordance with the manner wished by its author. As a result, the browser or the application is no longer required to recognise an infinite number of tags to represent the data, but it just needs to be capable of reading Java. The data is therefore intelligent for it is self-publishing, and is furthermore capable of adaptation. Indeed, the publication of the data can be modified according to optimising, cultural, technological or even personal criteria, the data always remaining intrinsically the same. The invention also concerns an equipment for creating such self-publishing and adaptive documents intuitively.
(FR)La présente invention propose une méthode pour représenter - ou publier - et/ou traiter une donnée structurée dans un markup language, comme XML, dans n'importe quel browser (butineur) ou application capable de lire du Java. Ainsi, une applet - ou un programme - (ou routine) java située dans le document XML au même titre que la donnée prend comme paramètre cette donnée et la publie selon la manière dont son créateur l'a voulu. Dès lors, il n'est plus nécessaire au browser ou à l'application de reconnaître une infinité de tag pour représenter la donnée, mais d'être juste capable de lire du Java. La donnée est alors intelligente car elle s'auto-publie, et, en outre, elle est capable d'adaptation. En effet, la publication de la donnée peut changer selon des critères d'optimisation, de culture, technologiques ou encore personnels, la donnée restant toujours intrinsèquement la même. La présente invention propose aussi un outil permettant de créer de tels documents auto-publiants et adaptatifs, de manière intuitive.
